| Abstract: | Based on the channel diameter, hydrology and geology of the Changsha Tongzipo Road to Yazipu Channels,the key factors in the selection of equipment type and problems that may occur in the process of the shield construction are dis- cussed. The selection of shield equipment is discussed and solutions for the problems are proposed from the shield machine system configuration. |
