Abstract:Efficient and accurate modeling and analysis of high frequency transformer winding losses is one of the prerequisites for the design of thermal performance.It is difficult to simulate electromagnetic field problems accurately in complex transformer structures with the analytical method.In this paper,aiming at the calculation demand of high frequency transformer winding loss under periodic non-sinusoidal condition,a model simplification method is proposed.The method equates the problem of solving 3D transient field finite element analysis to that of carrying out 3D eddy current field analysis based on solving the 2D eddy current field problem of various current harmonics.The typical simulation results show that the method is accurate and effective.
