The design of city bridges claims a good deal the input of landscape functions of the bridges.For the deck type palm-leaf shape tied arch structure adopted for the main bridge of Yingbin Bridge in Jiangshan City,the arch structure is novel,the profile of the arch bridge type looks fluent and elegant, and is quite harmonious with its surroundings.With reference to the engineering features and requirements for location of the Bridge in the famous scenery spot,this paper highlights the process of conceptual design of the Bridge and presents in considerable details the bridge type,structural design,mechanical analysis and construction schemes.It is expected that the presentations herewith will be helpful to the design of bridges of similar kind in China.
