| Abstract: | With the specific characteristics of the urban mass transit supply system taken into account, the paper analyses the requirement on the structural performances of the DC power cables for the urban mass transit tractions, such as the insulation, outer sheath protection layer and fire resistance. Basic types of the DC power cables suitable for the operations in China are suggested. |
