Analysis for additional stress in pavement due to thawing settlement of permafrost subgrade |

| Abstract: | In the permafrost regions,the thawing settlement in the subgrade may produce an additional stress in the pavement structure.In this paper the finite element method and analytical method are adopted to analyse the additional stress,and two kinds of calculation results are compared.The formula is deduced out to calculate the additional stress and the influence of the pavements parameter are analyzed.The proposals are put forward for the design of subgrade and pavement in permafrost region. |
