| 摘 要： | 在珠江三角洲地区改革发展规划纲要的指导下,应积极进行英语专业人才培养模式的改革与实践。通过分析应用型英语人才所需的知识、素质和能力,提出我院英语专业的培养目标和专业特色,倡导以服务地方经济发展为目标,培养面向21世纪的应用型英语人才。

| Abstract: | Under the guidance of the programme for development of Pearl River Delta Area,effective reforms and practices should be carried out to promote the development of application-oriented talents of English programme. This paper analyses the knowledge and quality-based framework of cultivating application-oriented talents of English programme,suggesting the objectives and features of English programme at Guang Dong Baiyun Institute with perspectives of serving regional economic development and cultivating application-oriented talents towards 21 st century. |
