Materials for cement-stabilized gravel Base of semi-rigid are universally applied in freeway building in Liaoning Province.There are many ripe experiences in present field.Many bases of freeway pavement adopt this sort of material,but the workability of construction is poor and the compactness is difficult to be guaranted because the river gravel along the highway line is coarse and the fines content is a little.Whereas admixing the adequate amount of fly ash in the base is both favorable for dense rolling and enabled to increase strength of pavement base.
