| Abstract: | The foundations of main piers No.2 and No.3 of Tianxingzhou Changjiang River Bridge are constructed with double-wall steel boxed cofferdams.This paper presents the technical innovations in the construction process of the cofferdams,including those of shifting of the cofferdams down to river,floating of the cofferdams to pier sites, setting and positioning of the cofferdams on piles,and also the innovations in the overall working design of the foundations. |
