摘    要:二氧化碳排放一直是航运界关心和关注的焦点,国际海事组织IMO第57届环境与保护委员会MEPC57、MEPC58、MEPC59次会议以及温室气体工作组第二次会议上对此都进行了激烈的讨论.根据所收集到的资料,对新造船能效设计指数EEDI(原:新造船CO_2指数)进行了分析和研究,并对减少二氧化碳排放可采取的措施进行了探讨.

Abstract:Greenhouse gas emission from ships has always been the focus of attention for international shipping industry. A new ship energy efficiency design index EEDI(the former name is new ship design CO_2 index) was submitted by Denmark and Japan during MEPC57 meeting and then was discussed in the meeting of MEPC 58 and interim meeting between MEPC 57, 58 & 59 and the 1~(st) and 2~(nd) meeting of the Working Group on Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Ships. This paper introduces and studies this new ship EEDI and also discusses the technical and operational means of reducing the CO_2 emission from ships in the future.
