2009年11月,南通中远船务工程有限公司向Sevan公司交付了世界上第一艘圆筒型钻井平台——＂Sevan Driller＂。这艘自航式钻井平台的工作水深达到12,500英尺,最大钻井深度40,000英尺。这意味着,经过几十年的经验与技术积累,中国的海洋工程制造商已经做好了与国际同行竞争的准备。
