| Abstract: | Underground water should not be ignored in slope computation and design,but its mechanical functions are not always clear in different conditions.Slope rockmass is classified into three types: water-penetration rockmass,water-proof rockmass and compound rockmass.The different functions of underground water,the different methods to describe the functions of underground water and possible problems are discussed. |
