| Abstract: | The longitudinal strength of the 89 m deck barge was calculated by the thin-walled beam theory and FE method of the whole hull combined with the hydrodynamic analysis respectively.Comparison of the numerical results showed that both of the two methods are applicable of the longitudinal strength assessment for this kind of ship. |
