Abstract:Taking the Xihan(Fuping-Hancheng)Intercity Railway as the research background,the cylinder cement-improved loess specimen was prepared by static pressure method.The influence regulation of cement content and compaction coefficient on the fatigue characteristic of cement-improved loess was studied through splitting fatigue test.Based on Weibull distribution,the fatigue life equation of cement-improved loess with different failure probability was established,and the fatigue life of cement-improved loess in the design life was estimated.The results show that the fatigue life of cement-improved loess follows the two-parameter Weibull distribution.The fatigue equation can accurately predict the fatigue life of cement-improved loess,and its correlation coefficient R2is greater than 0.92.When only train load is considered,the fatigue failure of cement-improved loess is not easy to occur in the design life.Under the same load,there is a highly linear positive correlation between cement content and logarithmic fatigue life.The fatigue life of cement-improved loess can be increased by at least 10;times when the cement content increases by 1%.The fatigue life of cement-improved loess can be increased by at least 10;times when the compaction coefficient is increased by 0.01.Excessive compaction coefficient will limit the improvement of fatigue life by increasing cement content.
