汽车侧面碰撞假人应用分析

Analysis on Application of Vehicle Side Impact Dummy

Vehicle Side Impact dummy is a critical test tool in the car side impact test. It imitates the appearance and human body and is used to study injury situation of the driver and passenger in side collisions. This paper introduces the vehicle side impact dummy. By analyzing the biofidelity performance of the Side Impact dummies at different stages, the characteristics and shortcomings by using side impact dummies in the current mandatory side impact test are presented. By analyzing the different types of side impact dummies worldwide, the side impact dummy which is suitable for Chinese situation is proposed.
