| Abstract: | This paper gives a brief account of the overall construction scheme for Contract I,Wuhan Tianxingzhou Changjiang River Rail-cum-Road Bridge,describes in considerable details the key construction schemes and methods for the main pylons and their foundations,heavy erection of steel girder blocks,casting and erection of 40-m span railway prestressed concrete box girders and also summarizes the highlights of some of the construction technique innovations. |
