Abstract:The CAD model of a certain type automobile was created with three-dimensional modeling software.Based on knowledge engineering module,a set of aerodynamic parameters of vehicles was set up.These parameters were angle of front windscreens(FWW),angle of rear windscreens(BWW),approach angle(AFA),departure angle(DRA).Eight different car models were obtained by changing these parameters.Then parametric model will be analyzed for aerodynamic by using of computational fluid dynamics(CFD) software,Star-ccm+.Under different parametric models,the drag coefficient and lift coefficient could be simulated.Moreover,analysis of affection for aerodynamic performance could also be carried on.
