| Abstract: | Short -term memory plays a very important role in foreign language learning. The thesis states the characteristics of short - term memory and the relationships between STM and LTM, STM and working memory. It also probes the relationship between STM and foreign language learning. Finally, the thesis puts forward some methods of improving foreign language learning. |
