A Study on the Layout Design of CA4GE3 Petrol Engine

This paper briefly presents the layout design of CA4GE3 petrol engine.Giving full consideration on the present production conditions of CA4GE series engines,carrying over as more as possible the parts and components,accessories and special parts from current CA4GE series engines and utilizing as much as possible the manufacturing equipment and production lines for CA4GE series engines,the upgrading modification on CA4GE engine is carried out.On the premise of being able to be fitted into the engine compartment of Redflag car,the state of the art technologies,such as variable valve timing and controllable burning rate,are adopted in the development of upgraded and high performance CA4GE3 engine.
