| 摘 要： | A method for calculating wavemaking resistance of a multihull vessel and corresponding computer program have been developed. The wavemaking characteristics of catamarans and trimarans were analysed based on theoretical calculations. The ranges of Froude numbers at which beneficial and adverse interferences occur, have been indicated and the interference mechanism been preliminarily shown as well.
