Discussion on Intercity Railway Construction in Zhejiang Metropolitan Area

This paper expounded the necessity of constructing intercity railway in metropolitan area of ZhejiangProvince from four aspects:integrating into national development planning,promoting regional economic development,improving comprehensive traffic quality and improving traffic construction planning.Zhejiang Province is located in thesuperimposed area of national development strategic planning,and needs to build infrastructure interconnection network.The development of intercity railway in metropolitan area can enhance the radiation driving capacity of core cities,realizethe integrated development of metropolitan area,guide the upgrading and reasonable layout of regional industries,andimprove the comprehensive traffic quality and promote the construction of green public transport.The construction ofintercity railway in metropolitan area should be planned first,and the past experience should be learned to meet thedem and of urban space expansion.
