| Abstract: | This paper introduces the multicasting technique, analyzes the requirements for IP multicast delivery including protocol and architecture, discusses mechanism of IP multicast, and process of IP multicast implementing in subnet by switches, and summarizes a configuration example of implementing IP multieast based on the kernel of Alcatel Omnistack Layer 3 switch in the networks. |
