Abstract:The open caisson of the middle tower of the Yangtze River High Bridge,known as the world largest deep-water open caisson,is 76m in height with a 55m embedded depth.The overall technical process in the construction of this open caisson is introduced,and the innovative construction technologies in this project may have some references for construction of similar open caisson.
