| Abstract: | The stay cable is a key component of the cable-stayed bridge, witch bears the whole load of the bridge, and large width of the vibration is easy produced under the actions of wind and rain. The article introduces the common vibration of the stay cable and its vibration mechanism, and describes the measures and technology to control the vibration of the stay cable, which have some references for the vibration and damping problems of the cable-stayed bridge. |
