| Abstract: | This article presents the testing load, test equipment and the method of loading and testing used in strength test of electric locomotive body. Maximum strain and deflection for main parts of four types of SS electric locomotive body are given, under the effect of 1960 kN longitudinal compressed load. The test results are analyzed briefly and several questions are raised in the end for further discussion. |
