| Abstract: | The 105-m span steel and concrete composite box girder of Shanghai Changjiang River Tunnel and Bridge is currently the longest span continuous composite structure box girder in China, and the construction of the girder makes good use of advanced construction techniques of prefabrication in girder yard as well as long distance marine transportation and pier site erection by floating crane. In this paper, the construction process flow and key construction techniques for the girder are briefly presented. |
