| Abstract: | Taking the spud can of a self-elevating drilling unit as an example,the paper establishes the spud can structure model.The load analysis and boundary conditions for the model are presented.Finally the results of different load cases are analyzed and the structure strength is assessed.The method in the paper offers reference value to spud can design. |
