| Abstract: | Based on the FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis on the pier-cap-pile foundation system, the internal stress distribution of the cap is analyzed. By comparing the results of the FEM and the simplified calculation method prescribed in the correlative codes, some design suggestions on the cap with two piles are put forward. |
