Discussion on application of ship routeing system in the waters of the Yangshan Deepwater Port

Now, the State Council has approved the proposal on promoting the development of Shanghai into an international shipping center. The Yangshan Deepwater Port, being the frontier of the development of Shanghai as an international shipping center, is duty-bound to be a pioneer and make contributions in the construction of Shanghai International Shipping Center. And most important of all in this regard is the implementation of a ship routeing system to ensure a safe, smooth and ordered shipping environment. This article tries to discuss on the necessity, feasibility, and the design of the ship routeing system in the Yangshan Deepwater Port.
