Striving to Open up a New Prospect of Collaborative Innovation and Development of Regional Rail Transit

The release of policies and regulations, such as Guidance on the cultivation and development of modern metropolitan area issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and Notice on promoting the development of metropolitan area urban(suburban) railway issued by the State Council, has pushed modernization of China’s metropolitan areas into the fast lane. Meanwhile, it has also brought new development opportunities for the collaborative development of metropolitan rail transit. In the first year of the 14 th Five-Year Plan, In the opening year of the 14 th Five-Year Plan, we need to coordinate the "integration of four networks", namely, trunk railway network, intercity railway network, urban(suburban) railway network and urban rail transit network. We need to adhere to the coordinated development of multiple networks and multiple systems, innovate the concept of urban rail transit cooperative development, plan the key tasks of urban rail transit cooperative development in metropolitan areas, in an effort to promote the high-quality development of urban rail transit industry, and strive to create a new situation of urban rail transit cooperative and innovative development.
