| Abstract: | Packet transport network（PTN） is a packet network with transmission function.It has to interwork with public switched telephone network（PSTN） and bear the node B services of 3G.This article analyses the requirement and important of PTN synchronization,introduces the standard and technologies of packet network synchronization and discusses the synchronization solutions based on IEEE1588 of PTN. |
