| Abstract: | This article discusses the type and the operational characteristics of fishing vessels that often come across the sea routes from Dalian to Japan. It concludes that necessary measures should be taken when different type of fishing vessels are under fishing operation and it provides an experienced reference for those who will pilot their ocean-going vessels en this sea route.
