| Abstract: | This paper introduces Positive Train Control system and European Railway Traffic Management System in terms of system background,development history and present outlines.The system functions are described and the implementation methods of train location and data transmission functions are analyzed together with a comparison of the technical difficulties,advantages and disadvantages of those methods in the two system.Finally,the prospects of marketing development of the two systems are analyzed and a survey of automatic control technologies in Chinese railway is presented. |
