| Abstract: | Causes of breakage of connecting rod of the model CA488 engine and corresponding remedy measures taken are argued. And theoretical basis with data is provided in order to solve problems of connecting rod breakage of the engine by means of finite element calculation and practical measurement and also by comparison of magnitude of stress at corresponding positions of three connecting rods of different cross sectional structure. |
