| Abstract: | This paper introduces the basic principles, application and precision of PRBS generator which is used for the identification of coefficients of ship motion equation. In addition, steering gear, gyroscopes for recording output signals of course and angular velocity are also described in the paper. These apparatuses have been applied in ship model experiments. |
