Discussion on Decreasing Land Requisition and Building Removal Costs for Urban Rail Transit

This paper analyses land requisition and building removal costs for urban rail transit in China on the basis of a large amount of data.The conclusion is that the cost involved is very high and tends to increase.Measures and methods on how to reduce land requisition and building removal costs are proposed from the point of view of land use control and planning,the scale of car depots and resource sharing.
