Processing of the Technology of Crankshaft Centering

Centering technology functions as the basic of the process of crankshaft processing. In the phrase of technology programming, enterprises have to choose among two modes, that is quality centering and centering. This paper introduces the changing of the centering modes adopted by the production of crankshaft in the engine industry in the two decades and analyzes of the above two technologies economically and technically in an all round way. At the same time, this paper expounds how to upgrade the quality of geometric centering with the help of CDM technology, which provides technical designs with basis. At last, this paper points out that the geometric centering acts as the mainstream in engine industry .
