摘    要:SBS是一种高分子橡塑类聚合物,将其掺人普通沥青中进行改性,可以充分发挥它的高温稳定性、低温抗裂的优势,显著地提升道路沥青的质量和使用性能。通常SBS改性沥青的含量为3%-5%,当SBS含量不足时,难以形成连续空间网状结构,从而导致改性沥青的性能无法达到预期的目标,大打折扣,严重时会导致改性沥青的不稳定或者在使用过程中的降解,严重的影响工程质量。然而,目前还没有一个准确的快速方便的进行SBS改性剂掺量的检测方法。本文将利用热重法对SBS改性沥青进行分析,得到并分析了不同SBS含量的改性沥青的热重曲线。研究发现,改性沥青热重曲线的第三失重峰所对应温度随着SBS含量的升高而线性地增大,因此可以作为一种检测改性沥青中SBS掺量的快速可行的方法,在高速公路行业推广应用。

Thermal Gravimetric Analysis of Content of SBS in Modified Asphalt Modifier

Abstract:SBS is a kind of rubber polymer which can be applied into the ordinary asphalt to produce modified asphalt. SBS can significantly enhance the quality and performance of the asphalt because of its stability at high temperature and anti-cracking characteristic at low temperature,The ratio of SBS in modified asphalt usually ranges from 3% to 5% . When the additives amount does not reach the require- ment,it is difficult for SBS polymer to form a continuous spatial network structure, consequently preven- ting the modified asphalt from achieving desirable performance. Furthermore, a deficiency of SBS may leads to instability or degradation of modified asphalt, thus severely impacting the quality of the construc- tionproject. However,for now there still lacks a convenient method to detect the content of SBS modifier efficiently and accurately. In this research paper, we utilize the thermal gravimetrie analysis (TGA) to measure the content of SBS in different samples of modified asphalt and possess the TGA curves for fur- ther studies. The result of our study indicates that there is a positive correlation between the amount of SBS in modified asphalt and temperature of the third weight loss peak in the TGA curves:the correspond- ing weightlessness temperate of the third peak linearly increases when the proportion of SBS goes up. Therefore,a potential viable method can be developed for the convenient detection for content of SBS in modified asphalt and applied in the highway construction industry.
