Construction techniques of zero section on Huangcao Wujiang major bridge

Abstract:On the Yu-Huai railway, the Huangcao Wujiang major bridge has the main span of 168m, which is the largest span of the continuous rigid structure bridges of double tracked railway in our country. The zero section of the bridge is of 11m high by 13m long with the concrete masonry amounting to 619.6m^3. This article performs an introduction mainly on the principal construction points of the zero section of the continuous rigid structure of the major bridge and summarizes the key construction techniques used for the section of the same.
