| Abstract: | ?With the design of traffic signs of the second belt highway in Changsha City as an example, this paper presents results of the preliminary study on three essential factors of traffic signs. These factors include color, shape and size of the text, and visual distance and principles of installation of traffic signs. In addition, this paper introduces the applications of these factors worldwide. |
