| 摘 要： | 鉴于变比特率视频业务具有混沌特性,本文在相空间重构的基础上,利用混沌时间序列的局域一阶预测法对两条标准的变比特率视频业务进行了预测,预测结果表明预测值能够很好地与实际值相吻合,而且不存在预测时延。相比自适应线性预测,具有更好的预测效果,为有效地进行网络资源分配和流量控制提供了基础,同时也为用混沌理论对变比特率视频业务进行建模和预测做了探讨。

| Abstract: | In view of the fact that variable bit rate (VBR) video traffic has chaotic characteristics, the local first-order prediction method of chaotic time series is employed to predict two flows of standard VBR video traffic on the basis of phase space reconstruction. Prediction results show that the prediction values can match the actual ones quite well without any time delay. Compared with the adaptive linear prediction method, this proposed method has better prediction performance and establishes foundation for network resource allocation and traffic flow control. Possibility of modeling and predicting VBR video traffic with the chaos theory is also explored |
