| Abstract: | The essay analyzes the role of railway in container intermodal transportation, expounds that some opportunities shall be grasped for the development of container intermodal transportation, such as opportunities in the aspects of international environment, policy and capacity expansion based on the overall and deep promotion of the construction of harmonious railway, and puts forward following suggestions: further study and influence related policies on intermodal transportation; accelerate the integrative construction at ports; strengthen the information network construction of large intermodal transportation and large logistics; etc. |
