| 摘 要： | 以北京等大城市信号交叉口行人过街安全问题为研究对象,对40个未设置行人安全岛和5个设置行人安全岛的信号交叉口进行了现场观测,研究分析了为方便行人二次过街、在道路中间分隔带设置行人安全岛的必要性,并提出了一种适合我国国情的安全岛设计型式。

| Abstract: | This study investigated the safety prob-lems of pedestrian crossing at signalized intersection in Beijing and some other cities.Field observations were conducted together with the questionnaire sur-vey for both pedestrians and drivers at 40 signalized intersections of Beijing and 5 signalized intersections of others.Based on the survey,it can be concluded from this study that it is absolutely necessary to install pedestrian refuge island at the median of road-ways to provide pedestrians with safe waiting area to complete two-step crossing.A refuge island which is suitable for the situation of Chinese was proposed in the study to provide relatively safe place for pedes-trian to stay. |
