Design Concept and Implementation of Ecological Highway Under New Situation

The main purpose of building ecological highway construction on the environment to a minimum, and control the is to reduce the adverse effects of highway damage and pollution to the ecological con- dition in the process of construction, which can make the highway construction not to affect the natural en- vironment. Based on introducing the connotation of ecological highway and concept of ecological highway design, the paper expounds the design method and measures for ecological highway from the aspects such as highway landscape design, ecological design of roadside, side slope protection and greening design, and so on, in order to improve the level of highway design.
