| Abstract: | By means of cable saddles installed on pylon tops of Pushang Bridge in Fuzhou, the concentrated forces transmitting from the stay cables of the Bridge were to be uniformly distributed to the concrete pylon shafts. In this paper, the casting, fabrication, surface treatment, coating and installation methods for the steel components of the cable saddles are presented in details. The presentations in the paper may serve as reference to the similar bridge works. |
