With impetuous development of modern communication technology,the frequency-hopping communication,as a kind of spread spectrum communication,has become popularized in countries of the world owning to its strong ability of anti-interference.Based on the basic theory of frequency-hopping communication technology,the article analyzes the generation of frequency-hopping technology and its technical characteristics different from those of other communications, and introduces the application and the development of frequency-hopping communication technology in the fields of military affairs,mobile communication,cabled communication and broadcasting.
