Abstract:The paper has analyzed the principle of the action of crossrange guidance of main lift magnet, using the calculating method of magnet force, as for the construction of the main lift magnet on the MAGLEV developed by the National University of Defence Technology. A conclusion is reached that the two lift magnets should shift for a certain distance, which can increase the stiffness of crossrange guidance and achieve the optimum value, thus providing a basis for the design of lift magnet system on MAGLEV.
