| Abstract: | This paper introduces the technical characteristics of a type-A metro car (hereafter referred to as an As vehicle) for mountainous cities. This vehicle was first developed in China, including the different technical specifications, which signify-cantly improved climbing ability and the performance through a small radius curve. Measures are taken to increase train operational reliability and electromagnetic compatibility. The body structure of the car is also optimized. |
