Measuring particle size

Around 70 per cent of drugs are delivered to the patient in the form of tablets and capsules produced from powders. Other delivery methods also often rely on dry powder excipients or intermediates. As a result, powder processing is an important aspect of pharmaceutical manufacture and particle size is a key product parameter.
