Commercial Development at High-Speed Railway Stations

Commercial development is an important way to supplement the loss of constructing and operat-ing high-speed railways,and to ensure the sustainable development of such a system.By analyzing the ex-isting problems of high-speed railway commercial development,this paper summarizes the experience in implementing commercial development at railway stations in several aspects: work mechanism, develop-ing pattern, and financing mode. The paper provides suggestions on development orientation, business mode,traffic organization,financing channel,and benefit analysis.Those experience and suggestions are expected to better support the commercial development at the high-speed railway stations and the surround-ing areas.
