Traffic Engineering Design of Guangwu Expressway in Second Period

In this paper, we introduce the idea and point of traffic engineering design in the project of Guangwu ex- pressway in second period which is a typical mountain area expressway. We especially focus on implementing mea- sure, including technology project support, new concept, new technique, new material, new process, modern manage- ment, emphasis safety, saving energy, carful design, reducing cost, etc. We expect provide a reference to lots of road builders in the management and designing of mountain area expressway traffic engineering, so as to improve the con- struction quality of mountain area expressway together.
